Morris-Shea installed 20” diameter pipe piles with 0.5” wall thickness to depths up to 160-feet as support for the Pop-Darr station and five tower foundations located on Disney World’s Hourglass Lake. The piles were initially driven with a vibratory hammer and then seated with a Delmag D-25 direct drive diesel hammer.

MULTISTORY HIGH SCHOOL BUILDINGS
Morris-Shea installed the DeWaal Pile System as deep foundations for the new Gulf Shores High School in Baldwin County near Gulf Shores, Alabama. These drilled displacement
piles will support two and three story classroom, performing arts and athletic buildings. Foundation installation commenced in late April and was completed on schedule in mid-July.
