Morris-Shea installed 20” diameter pipe piles with 0.5” wall thickness to depths up to 160-feet as support for the Pop-Darr station and five tower foundations located on Disney World’s Hourglass Lake. The piles were initially driven with a vibratory hammer and then seated with a Delmag D-25 direct drive diesel hammer.
Morris-Shea has the experience and manpower necessary to maintain the engineering integrity and construction processes demanded for multiple energy projects.
Deep foundation contractor Morris-Shea installed DeWaal piles, rigid inclusions and shoring at Ford Motor Company’s expansive new production facility near Stanton, Tennessee.
The concurrent installation of nearly 66,000 DeWaal piles at new LNG terminals in Corpus Christi, Texas and Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana required numerous highly skilled crews of deep foundation professionals.
