Morris-Shea completed a continuous flight auger pile (CFA) deep foundation retrofit at a 1 million SF online retailer distribution center to accommodate the weight of a new new mezzanine level. This work required the installation of new 18-inch wide flange columns, welding the new column to the old one, and finally removing the shoring towers and patching of the floor.
Morris-Shea has the experience and manpower necessary to maintain the engineering integrity and construction processes demanded for multiple energy projects.
Deep foundation contractor Morris-Shea installed DeWaal piles, rigid inclusions and shoring at Ford Motor Company’s expansive new production facility near Stanton, Tennessee.
The concurrent installation of nearly 66,000 DeWaal piles at new LNG terminals in Corpus Christi, Texas and Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana required numerous highly skilled crews of deep foundation professionals.
